Job Summary

Queen’s University is seeking an experienced administrative professional to join the Queen’s Temporary Administrative Pool. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to be considered for short-term casual assignments throughout the university as they become available. These assignments may vary in responsibilities and hours, typically ranging from 25-35 hours per week.

Responsibilities may include reception duties, calendar management, meeting organization, minute-taking, and basic bookkeeping.

Due to the variable nature of the work, flexibility and availability to start work promptly are essential qualities for candidates interested in joining the pool.

Job Description

Requirements:

- Minimum two-year college diploma required
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in an administrative role supporting a department or business in the following activities:
• Calendar management (preferably MS Outlook)
• Reception
• Meeting coordination
- Experience working in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with video conferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, Skype)
- Ability to begin work quickly as assignment arise
